To be honest, the first thing that struck me upon arriving at Zigana Gümüşkayak Yaylakent was that sharp, pristine smell of the pine forest; I won't lie, getting this far away from the city and being right in the heart of nature gives one a completely different kind of peace. In my opinion, the facility's most crucial point is definitely its location, because the moment you wake up in the morning and draw the curtains accompanied by that local and warm wooden decoration of your room, seeing an endless valley and majestic mountain view across from you was a priceless experience. Based on my experiences, this place is not just a place to stay, but also an escape point where you can rest your soul; especially if you went in winter, being able to leave the ski room and access the slopes directly and relieving the day's tiredness by drinking something hot accompanied by that magnificent view was the most enjoyable part of the holiday for me. As for the food, I can say that the local tastes and naturalness in the open buffet breakfast served in the restaurant left a mark on my palate. In short, if you say "let me both ski and be alone with nature to clear my head," Zigana Gümüşkayak Yaylakent ranks high on my favorites list.
