Frankly, whenever I find myself near Ayvalık, I look for a place to escape the crowds and clear my head, and to be honest, Melisa Bungalow Hotel more than met my expectations in this regard, possessing a sincere atmosphere that makes you say "finally" the moment you step into its large garden. I think the fact that the facility opened in 2015 makes the settled nature of the rooms and the general structure felt; while being 800 meters from Sarımsaklı Beach might sound a bit far at first, in my experience, reaching the sea with a short walk in the evening coolness, being away from the noise of the sea but still close enough to it, is a godsend for those who want a quiet sleep. In my opinion, the most striking point here is definitely its location; being only 3.5 km from Şeytan Sofrası (Devil's Table) means you don't have to worry about missing that famous sunset, and the fact that you can reach Cunda Island with a pleasant 17 km journey without getting stuck in too much traffic really eased my hand when planning my vacation. To tell the truth, if you are looking for a warm stop far from showiness but offering everything you need (like air conditioning, hot water, clean towels) completely, where children can run around in the garden, you can read your book in the sunbathing area, and you will feel like a guest at an acquaintance's summer house rather than a hotel, I can say this place is exactly for you.
