If there is such a phrase as "waking up inside a painting," its equivalent is definitely Yedigöller Habitat Recreation Houses. Staying right in the heart of the national park, among those famous lakes and huge trees, was one of the most fascinating experiences I have ever had in my life. I think what makes this place special is that absolute silence; that state of "digital detox" where the phone sometimes doesn't get reception, you get away from technology and just listen to the rustling of leaves. To tell you the truth, watching that mist over the lake with the first lights of the morning and warming up by the stove in the cold weather makes one feel alive. Frankly, do not expect luxury hotel comfort, but the luxury offered by nature is exchangeable for nothing according to my experiences. A riot of colors in autumn, white peace in winter; this place is a separate fairy tale in every season.

Habitat Recreation Houses is the only accommodation facility located within the borders of Bolu Yedigöller National Park and built with wooden architecture without harming the texture of the national park. Located inside this unique piece of nature of 71 hectares, bungalow houses offer the "in-forest" concept to their guests in its purest form. The houses usually have a capacity of 4-6 people and include a kitchen, stove, basic kitchen utensils, heating system (usually electric or fireplace stove), and bathroom inside. While the facility offers guests the opportunity to prepare their own meals, restaurant service within the national park can also be utilized. Electricity and water facilities are available, but due to the protection status of the national park, some restrictions or natural conditions (such as internet/phone signal strength) may vary. In the region where campfires are prohibited, controlled barbecues can be made in designated areas. Habitat Recreation Houses is a unique location for those who want to completely disconnect from city life, walk around the lakes, and integrate with nature.
