To tell the truth, you feel the sincerity of it being a family business the moment you walk through the door; a warm feeling rises inside you, as if you have arrived at a distant relative's summer house rather than a hotel. The part that impressed me the most was the luxury of waking up to that sweet smell of the sea and throwing yourself into the cool waters of the Aegean after walking just 20 meters; in my opinion, such comfort is priceless in this day and age. Having only 5 single-story bungalows is a huge advantage for those seeking a quiet holiday away from the crowds, and while enjoying a barbecue in the garden in the evenings or tasting those delicious meals served in their restaurant, you find yourself saying, "I'm glad I came." Also, the fact that they are pet-friendly is a wonderful detail for those like me who don't want to leave their pawed friends at home; based on my experiences, it is not always easy to find such a natural and comfortable environment in the Assos region.
